Paramjeet learnt that she could file a complaint against her husband with the passport office in Jalandhar so that his passport would be flagged. Passport Officer Parneet Singh says that in a case such as Paramjeet’s, a show cause notice can be sent to the absconding groom, following which an order can be issued for his passport to be impounded or seized.
